To support our growth and achieve our ambitious goals we need to extend our talented team and are looking for a Sales Manager.

Qwest TV is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial sales manager to join the team in Paris. Someone who will contribute to the advertising sales strategy and will be the Qwest TV Ambassador for Brands and Marketers.

Mission

On a day to day you will:

  • Prospect, negotiate, and sign new advertising campaigns with Media Agencies, Advertisers & other demand sources

  • Identify new opportunities for revenue growth

  • Monitor and optimize on a daily basis the sales activity: Revenue, CPM, etc.

  • Oversee inventory management; forecasting, pricing, and yield optimization to maximize revenue across all channels and products (Linear Connected TV, Avod)

  • Contribute to the organization and development of larger strategic partnerships (Ad operations, contents, programmatic partnerships, etc.)

  • Meet and exceed sales quota through outbound work - strategically selling Qwest video advertising inventory

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, discovery, presentation, negotiating and closing

  • Reporting and forecasting of the monthly results

Qualifications

On top of a mandatory strong background in media sales, Qwest is looking for:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree from a Business University

  • At least 3 years of experience in the Digital Advertising industry; video and content focus greatly preferred

  • Strong understanding of the Digital Advertising industry

  • Ability to speak and write in English and French fluently. A third language proficiency is a plus

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment. Effective project management and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills, and the ability to see granular as well as big picture issues.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

The Business Affairs Assistant is responsible for ensuring that the content on Qwest meet the contractual requirements during its lifecycle, though the Qwest back-office tools.

The candidate must have understanding and experience of legal, accounting and administrative subjects, ideally in relation with digital platforms. He / She will be able to work individually and with stakeholders at every level in the content chain. The Business Affairs Assistant will be able to look after the Content lifecycle from contract stage to the reporting.

Having an understanding of the contractual matters, back office tools and content management is key for this position.The Business Affairs Assistant will report to the Director of Business Affairs with close collaborations with key stakeholders such as CFO, CEO, CRO, CTO and Head of programming.

Role

  • Oversee the content lifecycle from contract execution until de-publication.

  • Draft licensing, distribution and coproduction contract.

  • Manage back office tools in relation to content publication.

  • Participate in the definition and update of such back-office tools, working closely with stakeholders.

  • Manage royalties calculations for right holders and collection societies in accordance with contractual and/or regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure that the content is always exploited in compliance with contractual constraints.

  • Proceed to the clearance of audiovisual works to grow Qwest TV’s catalogue.

  • Providing assistance for the negotiation of Collection societies agreement.

  • Providing assistance to other Qwest departments on rights clearance, marketing materials and partnership validation etc., raise company awareness on legal and accounting constraints, collect feedbacks, leverage learnings for future operations and contract drafting.

  • Stay current and up-to-date with emerging trends and regulations in the industry and stay informed of the competition.

  • Create documentation on processes.

  • Cultivate and manage strong relationships among working teams and leadership across Technical, Operations, Distribution, Acquisition, Marketing.

Requirements

  • Master in law or Accounting

  • 1 to 5 years of experience in similar position

  • Understanding of digital platforms and content management

  • Strong attention to details, Self-disciplined, strong organizational skills

  • Analytical skill required to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources

  • Ability to draft contract in English and French, native English is a plus

The role is a mix of artistic direction and studio management; you will lead the creative team in the smooth running of the internal studio, delivering work spanning; video content and graphics, and ensure brand/design consistency for all creative work produced, as the final sign off.

We are looking for someone who is hands on while always having a view of the overall vision of Qwest TV. It is a great opportunity for an individual with an eye for design and art direction to join an amazing and passionate team of creatives (3 videographers and 1 graphic designer).

Mission

  • Act as the first point of contact for all in-house creative projects, you will manage all areas of the project; ensuring the parties are thoroughly briefed, that the deadlines are realistic, prioritizing all requests and final sign off before sharing with the project owner

  • You'll be responsible for ensuring that all work loads are properly and efficiently delegated to your team, and that your team have all the resources needed to complete their tasks

  • Provide feedback and direction to designers and videographers

  • Manage the expectations of project owners and share a clear explanation of the creative work and the direction taken

  • Ensure that design guidelines are clear depending on the platform, having an understanding of designing for digital platforms and video is essential.

  • Understand the audience profile/target and the brand identity to build clear design guidelines across all of Qwest TV’s communication (Auto-promos, Linear Channel promotion,Video, Banners, Print, Email, Website, Social, Presentations, Apps, Digital TV). Ensuring creative cohesion for all of our assets; the users should see one brand regardless of the touchpoint and connect with Qwest TV through design.

  • Work across all three offerings; video on demand, Education and Linear

  • Manage and work closely with a team of 3 talented creatives

  • Work with key departments (Sales, Marketing, Education, Product, Business Development)

The profile

  • You will be hands on, able to run with any task thrown your way and be able to flex your skills between creativity and organisation

  • Extensive graphic design experience and work developing visual brand identities

  • A strong understanding of videography is essential, a bonus if you have video editing skills as well as design

  • A good communicator that has experience managing a team and many internal stakeholders

  • Takes personal responsibility for getting things done

  • Works well in a high pace and dynamic environment

  • Fluent in and comfortable working in english

  • Knows how to work with copywriters closely for the best design outcome

  • Understand design guidelines and best practices for multiple platforms - especially digital

Missions

Customer Service:

  • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner (through email & on social media)

  • Help customers by resolving any queries they have: account information, refunds, resetting passwords, technical support etc

  • Advocate on behalf of client so they feel heard and supported - by using good judgment

  • Create templates for responses (while also allowing for personal response) and implementing strong workflow to improve efficiency

  • Liaise with Product and Marketing departments to stay updated on new products, features, bugs, promotions etc

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial officer and in a context of rapid changes in the dedicated accounting-finance information system, you will be in charge of the following main missions, in permanent contact with the IT Department and operational staff:

  • Participate in the design of reports and KPIs in the new environment

  • Design, monitor and communicate reports

  • animate and make the monthly / weekly KPI production process operational and reliable

Profile
