When you visit Qwest TV you provide us with two types of information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected by us and Website use information collected by us as you interact with our Website.
When you register with Qwest TV, you provide us with certain personal information, such as your name, your email address, your telephone number, your address, your gender, schools attended and any other personal or preference information that you provide to us.
When you enter Qwest TV, we collect your browser type and IP address. This information is gathered for all Qwest TV visitors. In addition, we store certain information from your browser using “cookies.” A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. We use session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in. These cookies terminate once the user closes the browser. When you use Qwest TV, you may set up your personal profile and perform searches and queries. We collect this information so that we can provide you the service and offer personalized features. In most cases, we retain it so that, for instance, you can update your profile. When you update information, we usually keep a backup copy of the prior version for a reasonable period of time to enable reversion to the prior version of that information.
You post your own private or personal information on the Website at your own risk. Although we allow you to set privacy options that limit access to your pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your pages and information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that information you post on the Website will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. If you choose to offer a Qwest TV subscription to a friend, we will ask you for information needed to send the gift subscription, such as your friend’s email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email or instant message with information about how to create an account on the platform. Qwest TV stores this information to send this one-time invitation and to track the success of our referral program. Your friend may contact us at contact@qwest.tv to request that we remove this information from our database.
Qwest TV may also collect information about you from other sources, such as newspapers, blogs, instant messaging services, and other users of the Qwest TV service through the operation of the service (e.g., photo tags) in order to provide you with more useful information and a more personalized experience.
By using Qwest TV, you are consenting to have your personal data transferred to our servers and processed.
When you register with Qwest TV, you create your own profile. We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications regarding new services offered by Qwest TV that we think you may find valuable.
Profile information is used by Qwest TV primarily to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the service.
Qwest TV may send you service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the service.
Generally, you may opt out of such emails by clicking Unsubscribe in an e-mail, though Qwest TV reserves the right to send you notices about your account even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.
Qwest TV may use information in your profile without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as aggregating how many people in a network like a video and personalizing advertisements and promotions so that we can provide you with Qwest TV. We believe this benefits you. You can know more about the world around you and, where there are advertisements, they’re more likely to be interesting to you.
We do not provide contact information to third party marketers without your permission. We share your information with third parties only in limited circumstances where we believe such sharing is 1) reasonably necessary to offer the service, 2) legally required or, 3) permitted by you. When you use Qwest TV, certain information you post or share with third parties (e.g., a friend or someone in your network), such as photos, videos, listings or other information, may be shared with other users in accordance with the privacy settings. All such sharing of information is done at your own risk. Please keep in mind that if you disclose personal information on social media or when posting comments, messages, photos, videos, listings or other items , this information may become publicly available.
Qwest TV may contain links to other websites or be accessed through other websites. We are of course not responsible for the privacy practices of other web sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by Qwest TV.
We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. Access and control over most personal information on Qwest TV is readily available through the profile editing tools. Qwest TV users may modify or delete any of their profile information at any time by logging into their account. You must sign in with your personal login and personal password, and then go to https://videos.qwest.tv/profile. Information will be updated immediately.
Individuals who wish to deactivate their Qwest TV account may do so on their account page. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be available to other subscribers to Qwest TV. Once you have deactivated your Qwest TV account, you will not be able to access your profile page. Should you want to make sure that your data has been removed, you can contact us at contact@qwest.tv to receive a confirmation whether it has been removed from all our files or that it is still present in backup copies.
Where you make use of the communication features of the service to share information with other individuals on Qwest TV, however, (e.g., sending a personal message to another Qwest TV user) you generally cannot remove such communications.
When you have activated your Qwest TV account, you have agreed to provide your bank or credit card details to our payment service provider, Stripe. Qwest TV neither requests nor keeps this information on file. Stripe’s Privacy Policy is available at https://stripe.com/privacy.
To stream our videos, Qwest TV has chosen OKAST-Flamefy a third-party provider performing subscription-based video-on-demand services. Okast and Flamefy belong to MEI Group. You can access their respective Privacy Policies at https://okast.tv/cgu/ and https://www.flamefy.com/privacy.

Qwest TV takes appropriate precautions to protect our users’ information. Your account information is located on a secured server behind a firewall. The Company offers a subscription service providing a legal entity (association, public institution, etc.) whose purpose is teaching or public dissemination (the “Establishment”) and its Users with access to audiovisual content around music particularly around jazz and classical.
The Qwest TV Edu Service is published by QRA, S.A.S., a company organized and existing under the laws of France, whose registered office is located at 135 rue du Mont Cenis, 75018 Paris (the “Company”) and (“we”).
“Qwest TV Edu Service”, “our Service” and “the Service” shall designate the service provided by Qwest TV Edu enabling the Users to search and view the Qwest TV Edu Content, specifically all of the features, recommendations and reviews, the website and user interfaces, and all of the content and software associated with our service (hereinafter referred to as the “Qwest TV Edu Content”) via internet streaming, viewable on certain televisions, computers and other connected devices (hereinafter referred to as (“Qwest-TV-Edu-compatible devices”).
Your Establishment has signed a subscription agreement (the “Agreement”) with the Company to provide free and unlimited access to the Service available by subscription for its students and staff (hereafter collectively “Users” or separately “User” or “you”) for a given period of time (the “Subscription”). These Terms of Service, also available at Qwest TV Edu website whose access URL is https://qwest.tv/edu/ shall govern your use of our Service.
Access to the Service lasts as long as the Subscription is valid, and stops as soon as the User leaves the Establishment (e.g. leaving education, resignation, dismissal, etc.) or the Subscription expires or terminates (“Access Duration”).
2.1. In order to use the Qwest TV Edu Service, you are expected to be at least sixteen (16) years of age, unless you are using the service under adult supervision.
2.2. Qwest TV Edu Service, as well as all content viewed through the Qwest TV Edu Service, is exclusively for educational, non-commercial use. For the Access Duration, we grant you a restricted, non-exclusive, non-transferable, free of charge license permitting you to access the Qwest TV Edu Service and view the Qwest TV Edu Content through the Subscription. With the exception of the aforementioned license, no rights, title or interest is granted to you. You agree to refrain from using the service for purposes of public viewing.
2.3. You may only view the Qwest TV Edu Content within the countries in which we offer our service and in which we hold the corresponding licenses. The available content may vary according to the geographical area and may also be modified from time to time.
2.4. Qwest TV Edu makes regular modifications to the Service, including the content of its library. Likewise, we regularly test various aspects of our service, namely our website, user interfaces, promotional offers and availability of Qwest TV content.
2.5. We may offer you in the future selected Qwest TV Edu Content that may be temporarily downloaded and viewed offline on certain compatible devices (hereinafter referred to as “Offline Titles”). In such case, restrictions shall apply, including the number of Offline Titles per account, the maximum number of devices on which they may be downloaded, the period during which you must begin viewing them and the length of time they will be accessible. It may be that certain Offline Titles cannot be viewed in some countries. If you ever connect within a country in which it is not possible to view an Offline Title in streaming mode, you will be unable to view it as long as you remain in that country.
2.6. You agree to utilize the Qwest TV Edu Service, including all of the associated options and features, in accordance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, as well as any restrictions on the use of the service or the proposed content. Except as expressly authorized in these Terms of Service, you agree to refrain from storing, reproducing, distributing, modifying, displaying, running, publishing, transferring, creating derived works, selling or using the Qwest TV Edu Content and service information or any other information that is thereby obtained. Furthermore, you agree to refrain from: circumventing, removing, modifying, deactivating, destroying or thwarting the protections on the content within the scope of the Qwest TV Edu Service; using robots, crawlers, web harvesters or other automated methods in order to access the Qwest TV Edu Service; decompiling, reverse engineering or dismantling any software, product or process that is accessible through the Qwest TV Edu Service; inserting any code or product, or otherwise manipulating the Qwest TV Edu Service in any way whatsoever; or utilizing any method of exploring, collecting or extracting data. Likewise, you agree to refrain from downloading, displaying, emailing, sending or otherwise transmitting any content, including any type of computer virus, code, file or program, intended to interrupt, destroy or restrict the functionality of any software, computer equipment or telecommunications equipment associated with the Qwest TV Edu Service. We may terminate or restrict your use of our service in the event that you violate any of these Terms of Service or use the service in a manner that is illicit or illegal.
2.7. The display quality of the Qwest TV Edu Content may vary from one device to another and may be influenced by various factors, including your location, the available bandwidth and the speed of your internet connection. The availability of HD, Ultra HD and HDR formats will depend on your internet connection and the capabilities of the device you are using. Not all content is available in all formats, specifically HD, Ultra HD and HDR, and not all types of subscriptions permit viewing the content in all formats. By default, the cellular network playback settings exclude content in HD, Ultra HD and HDR formats. In order to obtain SD quality, your system must avail of a connection speed of at least 0.5 Mbps. Download speeds of at least 5 Mbps are recommended in order to view the content in HD format (720p or higher). Download speeds of at least 25 Mbps are recommended in order to view the content in Ultra HD (1080p or higher) or HDR formats. You and/or your Establishment shall be responsible for any fees associated with your internet access depending on your location. Please contact your Establishment’s and/or your own internet provider for further information on any possible charges related to the use of internet data. The elapsed time before being able to view the Qwest TV Edu Content will vary depending on several factors, namely your location, available bandwidth at the time you view the title, the selected content and the settings of your Qwest-TV-Edu-compatible device.
2.8. Qwest Edu TV utilizes the services of a third-party provider to distribute its content. The Qwest TV Edu software, which enables access to the Qwest TV Edu Content through Qwest-TV-Edu-compatible devices, was developed for Qwest TV Edu by the company Okast (hereinafter referred to as the “Qwest TV Edu Broadcaster”), whose Terms of Service are available at https://okast.tv/cgu/. The Qwest TV Edu software may vary according to the device and media used, and the functions and features may also vary depending on the device. By using our service, you acknowledge that it may necessitate the use of third-party software, which may be subject to such third party’s licensing terms and conditions. You agree to automatically receive updated versions of the Qwest TV Edu software or third-party software associated with the service.
The Establishment shall be provided with a Qwest Edu TV account (hereinafter referred to as the “Account Holder”) which will enable access to Qwest TV Edu Service. The Account Holder may have control over the Qwest-TV-Edu-compatible-devices and provide User with an access to the Service. In order to retain control of the account and prevent anyone else from accessing it the Account Holder and User shall retain control of the Qwest-TV-Edu-compatible devices used to access the service and shall refrain from communicating the password or the details associated with the account to anyone whatsoever. We may terminate or suspend the account in order to protect you and the Establishment, as well as Qwest TV Edu and its partners, from identity theft or any other fraudulent activity.
4.1. Applicable law. These Terms of Service are governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of France. They shall not restrict any consumer protection provisions from which you may benefit by virtue of currently effective legislation in your country of residence.
4.2. Unsolicited content. Qwest TV Edu does not accept any unsolicited content or ideas concerning the Qwest TV Edu content and waives all liability for any similarity between its content and programming and any content or ideas that are submitted.
4.3. Customer support. If you would like further information on our service and its features or if you need assistance with your account, please contact us at edu@qwest.tv. In some cases, Edu Customer Service may assist you by using a remote access and assistance tool that gives us full control of your computer. If you are unwilling to provide such access, you must refuse assistance through the remote access tool, in which case, we will assist you through other means.
4.4. Severability. If one or more provisions of these Terms of Service should prove to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall not be affected, retaining their full force and effect.
4.5. Modification of the Terms of Service. From time to time, Qwest TV Edu may modify these Terms of Service. We will inform your Establishment at least thirty (30) days in advance before the new Terms of Service become effective. You may terminate your use of the Service in case you do not approve such new Terms of Service.
